What is Livdelzi?
LIVDELZI is a prescription medicine used to treat PBC in combination with UDCA (also known
as urso or ursodeoxycholic acid) in adults who have not responded well to UDCA, or used alone
in patients unable to tolerate UDCA.
This once-daily pill is a game-changer for patients with primary biliary cholangitis (PBC), offering
significant benefits such as reduced alkaline phosphatase (ALP) levels and relief from PBC-
related itching—a common symptom affecting more than half of those with PBC.
LIVDELZI is now available as a prescription medication for treating PBC in adults. It can be
used in combination with UDCA (ursodeoxycholic acid) for patients who haven’t responded well
to UDCA alone or as a standalone treatment for those who cannot tolerate UDCA.
